2023 AMAP Annual Conference & Workshop

The 2023 AMAP Annual Conference & Workshop was held October 16-19 in Jacksonville, Florida. The event had a great turnout, with over 200 attendees and 23 sponsors!

The Workshop portion of the event was well attended. The tracks covered were Mixes 101, Modification 101, Modification 201, and Roofing. Presenters did a fantastic job of delivering quality information that was well received by attendees!

The Conference features the AMAP History Panel, which included some of AMAP's original founding members discussing the history of our organization, and how it has evolved over the years.

Our conference speakers covered important topics including Sustainability, New Technologies, Roofing, and the latest Industry Developments.

The Business Meeting was held and a new slate of candidates were elected to the 2024 Board. Those included were Anna Thibert, Julie Geyer, and Mike Worden as Producer members; Brian Orr and Andrew Ford as Supplier members; and Codrin Daranga as an Associate Member. The new Board of Directors will take effect on January 1st, 2024.

The Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Jim Sattler, former Executive Director of AMAP, while the AMAP Person of the Year Award was given to our Technical Committee Chairman, Mark Stewart!

We are looking forward to another great Annual Conference in 2024! The conference will be held October 14th-17th in Salt Lake City, Utah. Keep an eye out for more information in the coming months!
