Jim Sattler

Jim Sattler was a founding AMAP Board member, 4th President, and Executive Director from 2015 to 2021. Jim began his career in July 1970 as an agricultural economist for the Firestone Plantations Company. He subsequently moved to Firestone Polymers Division, where he retired in 1995 as Global Sales Manager.  Jim then helped found Momentum Technologies, a polymer distribution and lab services company serving the asphalt industry. In 2012 Jim spun off NuVention Solutions to develop a pyrolysis technology for converting livestock waste to a bio-oil asphalt modifier.

Jim is currently a  partner with the Mayam Group, developing renewable energy projects and he consults with several companies on various business activities.
